BAF Global Chill said...

Bradford Animation Festival's traditional Friday night party is taking on a new and exciting guise this year, as they team up with LunaMatik Festival 2011 to bring you the BAF Global Chill on Friday the 11th of November 2011, from 9pm until 2am. This is your big chance to enjoy rainforest-grade world beats (including, fresh from Musicport Kath Canoville's Global Meltdown (BCB fm, TGU, Nation Records - world fusion ), plus many more DJs on the wheels of steel, including Kris Kuba (Tokyo's, Revolution), Banaris Iqbal (BCB - Asian beats), Jerry Crawford (BCB, Mingles Nightclub - chilled house set), Tareck Gonheim (BCB, New Bohemia, Leeds - Sticks And Stones), and Mick Dundee (TGU, BCB FM - trance and techno).

This multicultural melting pot of beats is your chance to mix and mingle with fellow creative minds, including industry professionals and film directors from the animation and game industries, and have lots of fun, too!!! People are coming from the length and breadth of the UK for this popular event, so please arrive early.

LunaMatik is a catch-all Northern music, arts, science and food festival that has everything from ghost hunts to raves, poetry jams to theatrical events, rock and folk gigs to classical organ recitals, with gigs, concerts, art exhibitions, craft sessions, workshops and participatory events happening non-stop for almost three weeks throughout West and North Yorkshire, and Manchester, including Leeds, Hebden Bridge, Skipton, York and Wakefield.

You do not need to book tickets for LunaMatik: BAF Global Chill. However, you are required to bring your dancing shoes.

Free for BAF Passholders (show your pass) / £2 on the door.
